Second Look

Second Look is a calm spot-the-difference game hosted by a Facet, the black Chikin. Survey drones photograph each colony site twice, and something changed between the two shots. Your job is to find every change.

Step by step

1. 1Two pictures of the same site sit side by side, or one above the other on a phone held upright. They look alike, but a few things are different.
2. 2Tap a change in either picture. It is ringed in both, so you can see what changed.
3. 3The rings between the pictures show how many changes are left on the plate.
4. 4Find them all to clear the plate and go on to the next. A run is five plates from Zyvri V, Amarra and Scalda, with 32 changes in all.
5. 5On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move over the first picture and Enter to look in the square under the cursor.

Tips

• Each change is worth 10, and a miss takes 5 off your score. Clearing a plate adds a bonus of 30, less 5 for every miss on it, and tapping too fast fogs the pictures for a moment, so look before you tap.
• Stuck? Press Hint and the Facet shows you one change. You can do that three times a run, and the number on the bulb says how many are left.
• Changes can be small: a lamp in another colour, a window lit or dark, a Chikin facing the other way, or something gone from the sky.
• There is no timer, so take your time and take a second look.
