How to play Pyramid solitaire
Pyramid is a solitaire game about pairs. The cards are laid out in a pyramid, and you clear it by taking away two cards that add up to 13.
Step by step
- Tap a card, then tap a partner that makes 13 with it. Nothing is dragged.
- A Jack is 11, a Queen is 12, and a King is 13, so a King goes on its own.
- Only a card with nothing resting on it can be taken.
- Turn over a card from the stock when you need one. The card you just turned over can make a pair too.
- Clear the pyramid to win.
Tips
- Look ahead before you pair. Some cards are the only way to free the cards under them.
- Take Kings as soon as they are free. They never need a partner.
- There are two boards with the same rules: one pyramid of seven rows, or three peaks on a shared row of ten.
- Stuck? Ask for a hint, or press Undo and try another way.

Ace and Queen, 2 and Jack, 3 and 10, 4 and 9, 5 and 8, 6 and 7. A King is 13 on its own.
